The Mamma Mia! DVD Is Released Today
The Mamma Mia! DVD has been on the top of the hot DVDs list on Amazon for weeks now but it has now finally been released today. This musical film features lots of the classic ABBA hits and stars Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Julie Walters, Colin Firth and Amanda Seyfried.
It is basically a middle-aged love story and is described as a romantic comedy and a fantastic feel-good movie. I haven’t personally seen the film myself, and don’t really intend to as it’s not my sort of movie, but although some reviews have been mixed it does seem to have received a huge number of 5 star ratings on Amazon from people who have seen the film.
The DVD of Mamma Mia!, which is very generously priced by the way at just £7.99 at the time of writing, features a number of additional features that you may also enjoy in addition to the film itself. There is a sing-a-long option, a feature on how the film was made, deleted scenes, a music video of Gimme, Gimme, Gimme and a full commentary from the director.
Of course Mamma Mia! will not be to everyone’s liking, but musicals never are. However if you love the music of ABBA and enjoy a good romantic comedy, then I’m sure you will love it. Here’s the link to find out more:
