If you are a fan of the Rolling Stones, then you will absolutely love the Rolling Stones Shine A Light DVD. Directed by Martin Scorsese, this DVD is a documentary that gives you a unique insight of the legendary band as they perform over two nights in New York.

The behind the scenes footage is interesting in itself, but it’s the main part of the DVD, the live performance, that will really blow you away. You expect quality from anything directed by Scorsese and that’s exactly what you get here with incredible camera work that makes full use of multiple cameras and camera angles for added effect.

The Rolling Stones perform all their greatest hits, as well as a few lesser known songs, and are joined on stage by Christina Aguilera, Jack White and Buddy Guy at various points. Filmed in 2006 at the intimate Beacon Theatre in New York, this was a really excellent performance and was beautifully filmed by Scorsese and his world-class cameramen.

Featuring some excellent archive footage as well, the Rolling Stones Shine A Light DVD is a brilliant DVD and one that I’m sure all Stones fans will enjoy.
