The Jeeves And Wooster DVD Box Set is the complete collection of all 23 episodes from the hit TV series which originally aired on ITV. Based on the novels of PG Wodehouse, it stars Hugh Laurie as the dim-witted English aristocrat with Stephen Fry playing his put-upon but very clever butler.

This was a quality series which poked fun at life in the 1920’s and 1930’s. A lot of people naturally assumed the TV series could never be as good as the books themselves, but the superb choice of locations and the brilliant performances from Fry and Laurie make this series every bit as good in my opinion.

Jeeves And Wooster is a really funny and enjoyable TV series on the whole, although there are inevitably one or two episodes that are not as good as the others. Overall though it’s well worth getting this series on DVD because it’s a bargain at less than £15 (at the time of writing) particularly as you get digitally enhanced versions of every single episode ever made.
