The Gavin And Stacey Christmas special was for me the best thing on TV this Christmas, even surpassing The Royle Family Christmas special, which was also very good. Anyway if you want to watch the previous episodes of this brilliant BBC sitcom, you can now do so thanks to this Gavin and Stacey box set.

The Gavin And Stacey - Series 1-2 DVD features all the episodes from the first two series so if you have only just discovered this show, you can now see how the story of Gavin and Stacey and Smithy and Nessa has evolved right from the first episode onwards.

I discovered this series quite late myself but after watching a random episode I was completely hooked and I immediately made the decision to watch the whole series right from the start. Thankfully I wasn’t disappointed because this is a top drawer comedy with brilliantly observed characters. There’s been a real shortage of decent sitcoms in recent years but Gavin And Stacey is right up there with the best of them in my opinion.
