If you are a fan of Blackadder, the classic BBC sitcom, then you may be interested in this Blackadder DVD box set. This is basically the complete collection as it features all four series of this legendary series plus the extra one-off episodes that were made.

Blackadder is one of the BBC’s finest sitcoms. Each series has completely different stories because they are set in different periods of British history but the same essential characters are still there as we follow the descendants of Blackadder, and his dim-witted sidekick Baldrick, throughout the ages.

Apart from the first series, which is not quite as good as the others, every series of Blackadder is truly excellent. Rowan Atkinson who plays Blackadder and Tony Robinson who plays Baldrick are absolutely hilarious and the dialogue between them is one of the highlights of every episode. There’s also an excellent supporting cast of characters in each series who compliment the two main characters extremely well.

Blackadder is quite simply a must-see comedy. It was voted the 2nd best British sitcom of all time and justifiably so in my opinion. If you haven’t yet seen the show or if you want to own every single episode of Blackadder, then I strongly recommend you check out this excellent Blackadder Complete Collection DVD:
