Mr Benn is right up there as one of my all-time favourite children’s TV shows. I used to love watching this program when I was growing up and I still have very fond memories of it even now.

Mr Benn was originally made in the early 1970s and told the story of Mr Benn, an ordinary businessman who in each episode would visit his local fancy dress shop and try on a different outfit. Then in full gear he would walk through the magic door in the changing room and take on a whole new adventure based on the new clothes he had just tried on.

It really was an excellent show because each episode brought you a brand new adventure and a journey into a completely different world.

There were 14 episodes in total if you include the one-off episode that was made in 2005, and you can now watch all of these episodes (with better sound and a much sharper picture) thanks to this Mr Benn - The Complete Series DVD.

Sadly there are no extra features included on this DVD but nevertheless at a bargain price of just £4.58 (at the time of writing), this Mr Benn - The Complete Series DVD is definitely worth adding to your collection:
