A few years ago Louis Theroux made a series of five new documentaries for the BBC and you can now watch all five of these one hour documentaries thanks to the Louis Theroux: The Strange And The Dangerous DVD which has just been released this week.

This DVD includes documentaries entitled ‘Louis And Gambling’, ‘Louis And The Most Hated Family In America’, ‘Louis Under The Knife’, ‘Louis Behind Bars’ and ‘Louis’ African Hunting Holiday’.

These fascinating documentaries do a great job in exploring not only the subjects of things like cosmetic surgery, prison life, gambling and hunting, but also gives you a really insightful understanding of the people involved thanks to Louis’ unique interview style, which always seems to make his interviewees open up and reveal everything about themselves.

Overall I can definitely recommend you watch these documentaries if you haven’t already done so. This Louis Theroux: The Strange And The Dangerous DVD is extremely good value considering you get nearly five hours worth of documentaries, as well as well as additional commentaries and insights from experts in these subjects (which were not originally included in the BBC series).
