The Tropic Thunder DVD has been released in the UK this week and it’s already shot to the top of Amazon’s DVD charts (at the time of writing), which means it’s currently outselling every other DVD on their website.

Tropic Thunder is a film comedy starring Ben Stiller (who also directed the film), Jack Black, Robert Downey Junior, Steve Coogan and Jay Baruchel. This film really takes a huge satirical swipe at the traditional Hollywood blockbuster, and in particular the big budget war movies and the actors that are involved with these types of films.

There are some parts of the movie which don’t quite hit the spot, but overall I thought that Tropic Thunder was extremely funny, particularly Tom Cruise’s brief cameo as a fat bald man.
