Charles Darwin And The Tree Of Life was a BBC documentary that was made to celebrate 200 years since the birth of Charles Darwin, the man who changed the way we think about evolution.

This program was presented by a man who has built a career upon the findings of Charles Darwin - David Attenborough. He gives us a unique insight into the life and work of this great naturalist and gives his own opinions on Darwin’s findings.

It’s a fascinating program because we get to see where Darwin grew up and how he came up with his theory of evolution and natural selection, which was one of the most significant findings in modern history (if you believe it of course).

We get to see new footage of various wildlife from around the world to give us an idea of how Darwin’s theory works in practice, and to prove that there is real scientific evidence behind his claims.

It really is a fascinating documentary, as we have come to expect from David Attenborough, and it’s well worth watching if you have any interest at all in Charles Darwin or the natural world.
