Inspector Morse first appeared on British screens back in 1987 and for the next 13 years established itself as one of the most popular detective series of all time. Based on the novels by Colin Dexter, Inspector Morse starred the late John Thaw as Chief Inspector Morse and Kevin Whateley as his loyal partner Detective Sergeant Lewis.

Set in the picturesque setting of Oxford this popular series ran for 13 years and spanned 33 episodes. Each episode involved a complex case for the duo to solve and was filled with lots of twists and turns along the way. In most cases you are still trying to guess who the murderer is with 10-15 minutes to go. It really was TV drama at it’s finest.
