The Lions 2009: Living With The Pride DVD
The British Lions may not have beaten South Africa in the three-match series earlier in the year but they put up a brave fight and ended the series on a high by winning the final match. In fact it was actually a very good series, and the good news is that you can now relive this entire series from behind the scenes with this exclusive access-all-areas DVD.
The Lions 2009: Living With The Pride DVD is basically a documentary that followed both the management and the players throughout the entire series. It is over three hours long and features footage from the training camp, the changing rooms, team meetings and the matches themselves, and as a result of this you feel like you are part of the team yourself.
It really is an excellent documentary and even though I’m not a massive rugby fan, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s one of those DVDs that you can enjoy even if you’re just a casual sports fan because it’s full of drama, tension, excitement, and a touch of humour in places as well.
As well as the documentary itself, there is also an additional disc which I understand contains around 100 minutes of extra footage (although I haven’t got round to watching this yet).
So at the current price of just £9.98 (at the time of writing) the Lions 2009: Living With The Pride DVD really is excellent value for money. Here’s the link if you want to find out more:
